The course covers key areas such as public and private funding sources, financial compliance, cost analysis, risk management, and strategic financial decision-making in the education sector.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Education Finance: Overview of education finance and budgeting, Roles and responsibilities of an education finance manager, Sources of funding in education (public, private, grants), Budget preparation and approval processes, Financial regulations and compliance in education, Ethical considerations in education finance.

Module 2: Budget Planning and Management: Developing annual and multi-year budgets, Forecasting revenues and expenditures, Allocating resources effectively, Monitoring budget performance, Managing budget variances, Involving stakeholders in budget planning.

Module 3: Financial Reporting and Analysis: Preparing financial statements and reports, Analyzing financial data for decision making, Cash flow management, Use of financial software and tools, Internal controls and audit procedures, Reporting to boards and regulatory bodies.

Module 4: Fundraising and Grant Management: Identifying funding opportunities, Writing grant proposals, Managing donor relations, Compliance with grant conditions, Tracking and reporting on fund usage, Strategies for sustainable fundraising.

Module 5: Procurement and Asset Management: Policies and procedures for procurement in education, Vendor selection and contract management, Managing educational assets and inventory, Risk management in procurement, Cost control and efficiency measures, Ethical procurement practices.

Module 6: Strategic Financial Leadership: Financial planning aligned with institutional goals, Managing financial risks, Leading finance teams and capacity building, Financial policy development, Transparency and accountability in finance, Emerging trends in education finance management.
