Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The objective of the Certified Fitness Trainer course is to develop qualified fitness professionals who can assess individual fitness levels, create customized workout plans, provide exercise instruction, and promote overall health and well-being. The course blends theoretical knowledge with practical training in anatomy, physiology, strength training, and wellness coaching.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Fitness and Human Anatomy: Fundamentals of physical fitness and wellness, Roles and responsibilities of a fitness trainer, Basic human anatomy and physiology, Skeletal and muscular systems overview, Cardiovascular and respiratory systems, Body composition and metabolism.

Module 2: Exercise Science and Training Principles: Principles of strength, endurance, flexibility, and agility, Types of exercises (aerobic, anaerobic, resistance), Warm-up and cool-down techniques, Progressive overload and adaptation, Functional training and mobility drills, Identifying and correcting movement patterns.

Module 3: Designing Fitness Programs: Client assessment and fitness goal setting, Customizing workout plans for individuals, Weight loss, muscle gain, and general fitness programs, Training plans for different age groups, Periodization and progression models, Tracking progress and modifying routines.

Module 4: Nutrition and Lifestyle Management: Basics of nutrition and macronutrients, Meal planning for fitness and performance, Hydration and supplementation, Weight management strategies, Healthy lifestyle habits, Myths and facts about diet and exercise.

Module 5: Injury Prevention and Safety: Common exercise-related injuries and prevention, Proper posture and exercise form, Use of gym equipment safely, Spotting techniques and assistance, Recovery and rest protocols, First aid and emergency handling.

Module 6: Professionalism and Client Management: Communication and motivation techniques, Ethics and conduct for fitness professionals, Building client trust and rapport, Time and schedule management, Marketing and promoting personal training services, Documentation and progress reports.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
