Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Module 1: Foundations of Instructional Storytelling: Understanding storytelling in education and training, Importance of narrative in learner engagement, Elements of an effective instructional story, Differences between traditional and instructional storytelling, Learning theories that support storytelling, Role of storytelling in knowledge retention.

Module 2: Story Structure and Design Techniques: Building blocks of a compelling story (character, conflict, resolution), Creating relatable learning characters, Using plot arcs for instructional flow, Integrating learning objectives into storylines, Balancing emotion and logic, Storyboarding techniques for planning.

Module 3: Storytelling for Different Learning Contexts: Designing stories for corporate training, academic settings, and workshops, Customizing stories for technical and soft skills, Culturally inclusive storytelling practices, Storytelling in virtual and blended environments, Case studies and scenario-based learning, Gamified storytelling techniques.

Module 4: Multimedia and Digital Storytelling Tools: Using visuals, audio, and video in storytelling, Tools for creating digital stories (Canva, Powtoon, Vyond, Adobe tools), Basics of animation and voiceover, Creating interactive storytelling content, Selecting the right media format for the audience, Accessibility and user experience considerations.

Module 5: Delivering Stories Effectively: Facilitation techniques for storytelling, Voice modulation and pacing for engagement, Using body language and presence, Encouraging learner reflection and discussion, Managing time and transitions between story segments, Handling diverse learner reactions and feedback.

Module 6: Evaluating Impact and Refining Storytelling Strategy: Assessing learner response to instructional stories, Collecting and analyzing feedback, Aligning storytelling outcomes with learning goals, Iterating stories for improvement, Building a storytelling toolkit and template library, Staying current with storytelling trends in education.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
