Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Textile Design Software Specialist course is designed to provide participants with comprehensive knowledge and hands-on skills in using specialized software tools for textile design. The course covers digital textile printing, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) for textiles, pattern making, color management, and fabric simulation. Participants learn to create, modify, and optimize textile patterns and prints efficiently using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and dedicated textile CAD programs.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of online assessment, you can download your Certificate Immediately.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Textile Design Software: Overview of Textile Design and the Role of Software, Key Features of Textile Design Software, Types of Textile Design Software (CAD, CAM, 3D, etc.), Understanding Software in Textile Production, Integration of Software with Textile Manufacturing, Benefits and Challenges of Digital Textile Design.

Module 2: Textile Pattern Design and CAD Tools: Principles of Textile Pattern Design, Creating Repeats and Motifs, Understanding and Using CAD Tools for Pattern Design, Color Theory and Application in Textile Design Software, Technical Considerations for Textile Patterns (Scale, Texture, Placement), Exporting Patterns for Production.

Module 3: Fabric Simulation and Visualization: 3D Fabric Visualization Techniques, Simulating Textiles and Weaves in Software, Rendering for Realistic Fabric Visuals, Digital Sampling and Prototyping, Material and Texture Mapping in Digital Design, Virtual Fabric Testing and Analysis.

Module 4: Color Management and Color Separation: Color Theory and Digital Color Matching, Managing Color Palettes and Libraries in Textile Software, Using Color Separations for Printing, Color Calibration for Accurate Results, Digital Dyeing and Color Simulation, Integration with Printing and Dyeing Processes.

Module 5: Textile Design for Print and Weave: Techniques for Designing Textiles for Printing and Weaving, Use of Textile Design Software for Print Layouts, Weave and Jacquard Design Creation, Raster and Vector Graphics for Textile Design, Pattern Grading and Scaling, Software for Knit and Woven Textiles.

Module 6: Automation, Integration, and Future Trends: Automating Design Processes for Efficiency, Integration of Software with Manufacturing Equipment, Collaborative Design Platforms in the Textile Industry, Data Management in Textile Design Software, Innovations in AI and Machine Learning for Textile Design, Future Trends in Textile Design Software Development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
