Objective: The Professional Diploma in Office Assistantship is designed to provide students with practical knowledge of office administration, computer applications, documentation, and professional communication. It focuses on developing skills in record management, data handling, office procedures, and the use of modern digital tools for efficient workplace operations. The course prepares learners to manage administrative tasks effectively and develop professional skills required for office assistant and support roles.

Duration: 6 Months / 370 Hours

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your Course you want to pursue.

Step 3: Click on pay Course fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay course fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the Digital(PDF) copy of your Diploma & Marksheet will be sent to your registered email ID within 7 days.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Office Administration: Introduction to Office Management, Office Organization Structure, Roles and Responsibilities of Office Assistant, Office Policies and Procedures, Professional Ethics and Workplace Conduct, Time Management Techniques, Office Communication Skills, Record Keeping Fundamentals, Customer Service Principles, Office Safety and Security.

Module 2: Business Communication and Documentation: Business Letter Writing, Email Communication, Report Writing, Memorandum Preparation, Meeting Agenda and Minutes Writing, Telephone and Reception Handling, Proofreading and Editing Techniques, Presentation Skills, Filing and Documentation Standards, Communication Etiquette.

Module 3: Computer Applications for Office Work: Computer Fundamentals, Operating System Basics, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Internet and Web Browsing, Email Management Tools, Cloud Storage and Collaboration, Data Entry Techniques, Basic Troubleshooting and Maintenance.

Module 4: Office Records and Financial Administration: Manual Filing Systems, Electronic Document Management, Inventory and Stock Records, Office Accounting Basics, Cash Book Maintenance, Invoice and Receipt Preparation, Payroll Fundamentals, Banking Procedures, Office Budgeting Basics, Confidential Record Management.

Module 5: Office Coordination and Administrative Support: Front Office Management, Reception Management, Appointment Scheduling, Event and Meeting Coordination, Travel and Accommodation Arrangements, Office Equipment Handling, Procurement Procedures, Team Coordination Skills, Problem Solving in Office Environment, Workplace Conflict Resolution.

Module 6: Professional Development and Practical Training: Personality Development, Business English Skills, Interview Preparation, Resume and Cover Letter Writing, Leadership and Teamwork, Stress Management, Workplace Grooming and Etiquette, Internship and Practical Office Training, Project Work and Documentation, Viva Voce and Final Assessment.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 120 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 60.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 10.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 600, Passing Marks Above 40%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
