Objective: The Certificate in Finance, Budgeting and Financial Analysis course aims to build a strong foundation in core financial principles, tools, and practices essential for effective decision-making in business and personal finance. The program provides participants with an in-depth understanding of financial statements, budgeting, cash-flow management, cost analysis, investment basics, and financial planning.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Financial Management: Definition and Scope of Finance, Objectives of Financial Management, Role of Finance in Business, Functions of a Financial Manager, Time Value of Money Concepts, Financial Environment and Institutions.

Module 2: Financial Statements and Analysis: Understanding Balance Sheet, Profit and Loss Account Basics, Cash Flow Statement Overview, Common Size Statements, Financial Ratio Analysis, Interpretation of Financial Data.

Module 3: Budgeting and Forecasting: Types of Budgets (Operating, Cash, Capital), Budget Preparation Process, Variance Analysis, Forecasting Techniques, Zero-based Budgeting, Performance Budgeting.

Module 4: Working Capital Management: Concept and Importance of Working Capital, Cash and Liquidity Management, Inventory Management Techniques, Receivables and Payables Management, Working Capital Cycle, Financing of Working Capital.

Module 5: Investment and Capital Structure Decisions: Capital Budgeting Techniques (NPV, IRR, Payback), Risk and Return Analysis, Sources of Long-Term Finance, Cost of Capital, Capital Structure Planning, Dividend Policy Decisions.

Module 6: Personal Finance and Financial Literacy: Basics of Personal Budgeting, Saving and Investment Options, Credit and Debt Management, Insurance Planning, Retirement and Tax Planning, Financial Fraud Awareness and Cybersecurity.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
