Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Fundamentals of Industrial Safety: Introduction to industrial safety and its significance, Types of industrial hazards (physical, chemical, mechanical, biological), Principles of accident prevention, Roles and responsibilities of a safety professional, Safety signs and color coding, Legal framework and safety regulations.

Module 2: Hazard Identification and Risk Management: Methods of hazard identification (HAZOP, JSA, HIRA), Risk analysis and evaluation techniques, Hierarchy of hazard control measures, Permit to Work (PTW) systems, Safety audits and workplace inspections, Documentation and risk reporting procedures.

Module 3: Industrial Safety Equipment and Systems: Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – types and usage, Safety in material handling and lifting equipment, Machine guarding and interlocks, Emergency shutdown systems (ESD), Gas detection and alarm systems, Inspection and maintenance of safety equipment.

Module 4: Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness: Fire science and types of fires, Fire prevention and firefighting equipment, Evacuation planning and emergency drills, Roles of fire marshals and safety coordinators, First aid and rescue operations, Emergency communication systems

Module 5: Occupational Health and Industrial Hygiene: Common occupational illnesses and preventive measures, Exposure to noise, dust, fumes, and chemicals, Ventilation and illumination standards, Ergonomics in industrial environments, Industrial hygiene monitoring methods, Health surveillance and wellness programs.

Module 6: Safety Management Systems and Compliance: Overview of safety management systems (SMS), ISO 45001 and related standards, Safety policy formulation and implementation, Accident investigation and reporting, Promoting safety culture and training, Regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
