Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Macroeconomics: Definition and Scope of Macroeconomics, Difference Between Micro and Macroeconomics, Importance of Macroeconomic Study, Basic Macroeconomic Variables, Circular Flow of Income, Limitations of Macroeconomic Analysis.

Module 2: National Income Accounting: Concepts of GDP, GNP, NNP, and NDP, Methods of Measuring National Income, Real vs Nominal GDP, Per Capita Income, Difficulties in Measuring National Income, Importance and Uses of National Income Data.

Module 3: Aggregate Demand and Aggregate Supply: Concept of Aggregate Demand and Components, Aggregate Supply and Price Level, Keynesian vs Classical Models, Determinants of AD and AS, Equilibrium Output and Price Level, Shifts in AD-AS Curves.

Module 4: Inflation, Unemployment and Business Cycles: Types and Causes of Inflation, Effects of Inflation on Economy, Measurement of Inflation (CPI, WPI), Types and Causes of Unemployment, Natural Rate of Unemployment, Phases of Business Cycle and Indicators.

Module 5: Monetary and Fiscal Policy: Role of Central Bank and Monetary Policy Tools, Objectives and Limitations of Monetary Policy, Fiscal Policy – Instruments and Objectives, Deficit Financing and Public Debt, Policy Mix and Stabilization Measures, Effectiveness in Economic Control.

Module 6: Open Economy Macroeconomics: Balance of Payments and Its Components, Exchange Rate Systems and Determination, Trade Policies and Tariffs, Impact of Globalization on Macroeconomy, International Institutions (IMF, World Bank, WTO), Foreign Investment and Capital Flows.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
