Objective: The Certificate in Rehabilitation Fitness Support course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to design and implement fitness programs for individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, or medical conditions. The program focuses on understanding human anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and rehabilitation principles to create safe and effective exercise regimens that promote recovery, strength, flexibility, and overall health.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:
Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.
Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.
Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.
Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.
Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.
Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Rehabilitation Fitness: Overview of rehabilitation and fitness training, Roles and responsibilities of a rehabilitation fitness trainer, Principles of physical therapy and rehabilitation, Ethical and professional standards, Importance of patient-centered care, Legal and safety considerations in rehabilitation
Module 2: Anatomy, Physiology, and Kinesiology: Basic human anatomy and physiology, Musculoskeletal system and joint mechanics, Muscle function and movement patterns, Cardiovascular and respiratory considerations, Principles of biomechanics and kinesiology, Understanding injury mechanisms and limitations
Module 3: Assessment and Program Planning: Conducting client intake and health assessments, Identifying fitness and rehabilitation goals, Range-of-motion and strength testing, Risk assessment and contraindications, Designing individualized rehabilitation fitness programs, Monitoring progress and adjusting plans
Module 4: Exercise Techniques and Modalities: Therapeutic exercise principles, Strength training and resistance exercises, Flexibility and stretching techniques, Balance and coordination training, Cardiovascular and endurance exercises, Use of rehabilitation equipment and tools
Module 5: Patient Interaction and Support: Effective communication and motivation strategies, Educating clients on exercises and lifestyle changes, Handling patient concerns and limitations, Providing emotional support during rehabilitation, Encouraging adherence to programs, Building trust and rapport with clients
Module 6: Safety, Documentation, and Professional Development: Maintaining safety during exercise sessions, Emergency response and first aid, Documenting client progress and outcomes, Quality assurance and adherence to standards, Continuing education and skill enhancement, Staying updated with industry trends and best practices

- Duration- 60 minutes.

- Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
