Objective: The Certified E-commerce Business Consultant course is designed to equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to successfully plan, launch, and manage online businesses. It covers key areas such as e-commerce strategy, digital marketing, sales optimization, customer experience management, inventory and supply chain management, and data-driven decision-making.

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: E‑Commerce Fundamentals: Definition and evolution of e‑commerce, Types of e‑commerce models (B2B, B2C, C2C, D2C), Key players in the e‑commerce ecosystem (marketplaces, platforms, sellers, buyers), Advantages and challenges of online business, Legal and regulatory framework (data privacy, taxation, e‑commerce law), Emerging trends in e‑commerce (mobile commerce, voice commerce, social commerce)

Module 2: Business Strategy & Models: Online business strategy formulation, E‑commerce revenue models (subscription, commission, advertising, transactional), Competitive analysis and positioning, Multi-channel vs omni-channel strategy, Marketplace vs own website strategy, Business planning and business model canvas for e‑commerce

Module 3: Setting Up & Managing an Online Store: Choosing an e‑commerce platform (Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.), Website design & user experience (UX) principles, Content management systems (CMS) for e‑commerce, Product catalog design and navigation, Payment gateway integration and security, Mobile responsiveness and app‑based commerce

Module 4: Digital Marketing & Acquisition: SEO for e‑commerce (on-page, technical, product page), Paid advertising (Google Ads, Shopping Ads, social media), Email marketing and automation, Social media marketing for e‑commerce, Affiliate marketing and partnerships, Customer journey mapping and conversion funnel optimization

Module 5: Operations, Fulfillment & Customer Experience: Inventory management and forecasting, Order fulfillment models (in-house, 3PL, dropshipping), Logistics and shipping strategies, Returns management and reverse logistics, Customer service and support (chat, email, returns), Post‑purchase engagement and retention (loyalty, reviews)

Module 6: Analytics, Growth & Scaling: Web analytics and KPIs for e‑commerce (conversion rate, AOV, LTV), Sales forecasting and demand planning, A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO), Financial management (unit economics, cash flow, profitability), Scaling strategies (international expansion, product diversification), Use of emerging tech (AI, chatbots, AR, blockchain)

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
