Eligibility: Graduation or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Social Entrepreneur (CSE) course is designed to equip aspiring and current social entrepreneurs with the knowledge, skills, and tools needed to create and scale sustainable social impact ventures. The course covers social innovation, business models for social enterprises, impact measurement, funding strategies, stakeholder engagement, ethical leadership, and navigating regulatory environments. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Social Entrepreneurship: Definition and Scope of Social Entrepreneurship, Social vs. Traditional Entrepreneurship, Understanding Social Impact and Value Creation, Types of Social Enterprises, Role of Social Entrepreneurs in Society, Global Trends and Challenges in Social Entrepreneurship.

Module 2: Social Business Models and Strategy: Designing Social Business Models, Theory of Change and Impact Mapping, Strategic Planning for Social Enterprises, Measuring Social Impact and Performance, Scaling Social Innovations, Sustainability and Triple Bottom Line Approach.

Module 3: Funding and Financial Management for Social Enterprises: Sources of Funding (Grants, Impact Investment, Crowdfunding), Financial Planning and Budgeting, Social Return on Investment (SROI), Managing Cash Flow and Financial Sustainability, Grant Writing and Proposal Development, Legal Structures and Compliance for Social Enterprises.

Module 4: Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement: Social Marketing Principles and Techniques, Building Brand Identity for Social Enterprises, Community Engagement and Partnerships, Communication Strategies for Social Change, Digital and Social Media Marketing, Managing Stakeholder Relationships.

Module 5: Operations and Leadership in Social Enterprises: Organizational Design and Governance, Leading with Purpose and Ethical Leadership, Human Resource Management in Social Ventures, Managing Volunteers and Teams, Operational Challenges and Solutions, Monitoring and Evaluation Systems.

Module 6: Innovation and Scaling Impact: Social Innovation and Problem Solving, Leveraging Technology for Social Change, Developing Partnerships and Collaborations, Policy Advocacy and Influence, Strategies for Scaling Social Impact, Case Studies of Successful Social Enterprises.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
