Eligibility: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or Equivalent or minimum 2 years of relevant experience (experience-based learners can directly enroll and certify).

Objective: The Certified Yoga for Seniors/Retirement Community Instructor course is designed to train individuals to safely and effectively teach yoga and meditation to older adults in retirement communities or senior living settings. The course focuses on gentle yoga postures, breathing techniques, meditation, relaxation, and balance exercises tailored to improve mobility, flexibility, strength, mental clarity, and emotional well-being among seniors. 

Certification: Within 5 days after Completion of Online Assessment.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 2: Advanced Yoga Practices for Wellness: Yoga philosophy and history, Asana practice for physical and mental well-being, Advanced breathing techniques (Pranayama), Yoga for stress management, Alignment, modifications and safety, Integrating yoga into corporate wellness programs

Module 3: Meditation and Mindfulness Techniques: Introduction to meditation and mindfulness, Guided meditation practices, Stress reduction through mindfulness, Mind-body connection and awareness, Techniques for emotional resilience, Implementing meditation programs in organizations

Module 4: Corporate Wellness Program Design: Assessing organizational wellness needs, Designing wellness strategies and initiatives, Employee engagement and motivation, Evaluating program effectiveness, Budgeting and resource management, Creating inclusive wellness programs

Module 5: Health, Nutrition, and Lifestyle Management: Principles of nutrition and healthy eating, Lifestyle assessment and intervention, Managing chronic conditions in employees, Work-life balance strategies, Sleep and recovery optimization, Promoting sustainable wellness habits

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.
• Number of Questions- 30.
• Number of Questions from each module: 5.
• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
