Duration: Three Months.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Physiotherapy: Overview of physiotherapy and rehabilitation, Roles and responsibilities of a physiotherapy assistant, Basic human anatomy and physiology, Principles of movement and biomechanics, Ethical and professional standards, Importance of patient-centered care

Module 2: Patient Assessment and Documentation: Patient intake and history taking, Observing and recording vital signs, Assessing range of motion and mobility, Recognizing contraindications and precautions, Documentation of therapy sessions, Communicating observations to physiotherapists

Module 3: Therapeutic Techniques and Exercises: Assisting with therapeutic exercises, Range-of-motion and strengthening exercises, Mobility and gait training, Stretching and flexibility techniques, Application of heat, cold, and other modalities, Assisting with balance and coordination activities

Module 4: Equipment Handling and Safety: Use and maintenance of physiotherapy equipment, Proper handling of assistive devices, Safety protocols during therapy sessions, Ensuring patient comfort and support, Cleaning and sanitization of therapy tools, Risk assessment and injury prevention

Module 5: Patient Interaction and Support: Communication and empathy with patients, Motivating and encouraging patient participation, Explaining exercises and instructions, Handling patient queries and concerns, Supporting patients with mobility limitations, Building trust and rapport

Module 6: Clinical Operations and Professional Development: Scheduling and assisting with therapy sessions, Coordinating with physiotherapists and other staff, Record keeping and reporting, Maintaining hygiene and workplace safety, Continuous learning and skill development, Adhering to workplace policies and standards

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
