Duration: Three Months.

The course covers sustainability principles, environmental impact assessment, resource efficiency, circular economy practices, energy and water conservation, waste reduction, and carbon footprint management.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Industrial Sustainability and Green Practices: Definition and scope of industrial sustainability, Principles of sustainable development in industry, Environmental, social, and economic dimensions of sustainability, Role and responsibilities of a Sustainability Officer, Overview of global sustainability goals (SDGs), Benefits of sustainability integration in industrial operations.

Module 2: Resource Efficiency and Cleaner Production: Concept of resource efficiency and material flow analysis, Cleaner production strategies and techniques, Water and energy conservation in industrial processes, Raw material substitution and waste minimization, Sustainable procurement and supply chain practices, Life cycle thinking and eco-efficiency indicators.

Module 3: Industrial Waste Management and Pollution Control: Types and sources of industrial waste (solid, liquid, hazardous), Waste segregation, recycling, and disposal methods, Air and water pollution control technologies, Effluent treatment and emission standards, Circular economy principles in waste management, Compliance with national and international waste regulations.

Module 4: Energy Management and Carbon Footprint Reduction: Energy auditing and efficiency improvement techniques, Renewable energy options for industries, Carbon footprint assessment and reduction strategies, Emissions reporting and greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, Participation in carbon markets and offsets, Case studies on industrial decarbonization.

Module 5: Sustainability Reporting and Environmental Management Systems: ISO 14001 and EMS implementation in industries, Sustainability indicators and performance measurement, Corporate sustainability reporting frameworks (GRI, CDP, ESG), Stakeholder engagement and transparency, Risk management and continuous improvement, Internal audits and compliance checks.

Module 6: Policy, Innovation, and Future Trends in Industrial Sustainability: Environmental laws and industrial sustainability policies, Role of innovation and green technologies, Sustainable product design and industrial symbiosis, Digital tools and smart manufacturing for sustainability, Global trends and future challenges in sustainable industry, Capacity building and leadership for industrial sustainability.
