The program focuses on investment products, market analysis, portfolio construction, regulatory frameworks, and client relationship management, preparing candidates to serve as trusted advisors in wealth management and financial services.

Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to Investment Advisory: Role and Responsibilities of an Investment Advisor, Regulatory Framework and Compliance (SEBI, AMFI), Client Profiling and Risk Assessment, Understanding Investment Objectives, Ethics and Professional Standards, Advisory Process and Documentation.

Module 2: Financial Markets and Instruments: Overview of Financial Markets – Equity, Debt, Derivatives, Mutual Funds, Fixed Income Securities, Alternative Investments, Market Indices and Benchmarks, Trading Mechanisms and Order Types.

Module 3: Fundamental and Technical Analysis: Company Financial Statement Analysis, Ratio Analysis, Economic and Industry Analysis, Technical Charting Basics, Technical Indicators (MACD, RSI, Moving Averages), Trend Analysis and Pattern Recognition.

Module 4: Portfolio Construction and Management: Asset Allocation Strategies, Diversification and Risk Management, Portfolio Optimization Techniques, Performance Measurement and Attribution, Rebalancing Strategies, Behavioral Finance Impact on Investment Decisions.

Module 5: Investment Products and Strategies: Equity and Debt Mutual Funds, Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs), Derivative Instruments and Hedging, Fixed Deposits and Bonds, Real Estate and Alternative Investments, Investment Strategies – Growth, Value, Income, Balanced.

Module 6: Client Communication and Advisory Practice: Preparing Investment Proposals, Presentation and Reporting Skills, Handling Client Queries and Objections, Documentation and Compliance, Ethical Practices and Confidentiality, Continuing Professional Development.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

  • Duration- 60 minutes.
  • Number of Questions- 30.
  • Number of Questions from each module: 5.
  • Language: English.
  • Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
  • Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
  • There is no negative marking in any module.
