Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Data Governance in Education: Definition and importance of data governance, Roles and responsibilities of a data governance officer, Key principles and frameworks, Education data types and sources, Regulatory and compliance requirements, Ethical considerations and data privacy.

Module 2: Data Governance Frameworks and Policies: Developing data governance policies, Establishing data standards and quality metrics, Data stewardship roles and responsibilities, Data classification and lifecycle management, Access control and data security policies, Aligning data governance with institutional goals.

Module 3: Data Management and Quality Assurance: Data collection and validation techniques, Ensuring data accuracy and consistency, Data cleansing and maintenance, Managing data integration across systems, Tools for data quality monitoring, Reporting and resolving data issues.

Module 4: Compliance, Privacy, and Risk Management: Understanding legal frameworks (FERPA, GDPR, etc.), Privacy protection strategies, Risk assessment and mitigation in data management, Handling data breaches and incidents, Auditing and compliance monitoring, Training and awareness programs.

Module 5: Data Governance Implementation and Tools: Planning and executing governance initiatives, Technology solutions for data governance, Metadata management and documentation, Collaboration across departments, Change management and stakeholder engagement, Measuring governance effectiveness.
