Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card (Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Module 1: Introduction to Geriatric Wellness and Aging: Overview of aging and geriatric population trends, Roles and responsibilities of a Geriatric Wellness Program Manager, Physiological and psychological changes in older adults, Common health conditions in geriatrics, Principles of healthy aging and wellness, Social and emotional aspects of elderly care

Module 2: Health Assessment and Screening for Older Adults: Comprehensive geriatric assessment techniques, Functional ability and mobility evaluation, Cognitive and mental health screening, Nutritional assessment and diet planning, Medication review and management, Identifying fall risks and preventive measures

Module 3: Wellness Program Design and Implementation: Designing age-appropriate exercise and physical activity programs, Nutrition and dietary program planning, Mental stimulation and cognitive wellness activities, Social engagement and community involvement programs, Personalization of wellness plans based on assessments, Monitoring and evaluating program effectiveness

Module 4: Chronic Disease Management and Preventive Care: Common chronic diseases in older adults (diabetes, hypertension, arthritis), Preventive screenings and vaccinations, Pain management and palliative care principles, Lifestyle modifications for chronic disease management, Coordination with healthcare providers and caregivers, Education on self-management and adherence

Module 5: Safety, Environment, and Support Systems: Home and facility safety assessment, Emergency preparedness and fall prevention strategies, Assistive devices and mobility aids, Caregiver training and support, Legal and ethical considerations in elderly care, Creating a supportive and inclusive environment for older adults
