Objective: The objective of the Certificate in Health, Safety & Environmental Management course is to develop professionals capable of designing, implementing, and maintaining effective HES systems in alignment with national and international standards. Steps to become a GSDCI Certified Professional:

Step 1: Select your certification you want to pursue.

Step 2: Click on get certified tab, new pop up window will open.

Step 3: Click on pay certification fee, you will be redirected to billing details page.

Step 4: Fill your details and click on pay certification fee, You will be redirected to payment gateway, pay fee by any available options like Card(Debit/Credit), Wallet, Paytm, Net banking, UPI and Google pay.

Step 5: You will get Login Credentials of Online E-Books and Online assessment link on your email id, within 48 hrs of payment.

Step 6: After completion of the online assessment, the soft copy of your certificate will be sent to your registered email ID within 5 days.

Assessment Modules:

Module 1: Introduction to HES Management: Overview of health, environment, and safety (HES) concepts, Importance of HES in organizations and industries, Roles and responsibilities of HES professionals, Key HES terminologies and principles, Introduction to HES management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001), Legal and regulatory framework.

Module 2: Occupational Health and Safety Management: Workplace hazard identification and control, Risk assessment and mitigation strategies, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) selection and usage, Ergonomics and work-related stress management, Health surveillance and occupational diseases, Emergency preparedness and first aid.

Module 3: Environmental Management and Sustainability: Air, water, and soil pollution sources and control measures, Waste management techniques (solid, liquid, hazardous), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Energy conservation and resource optimization, Environmental laws and standards, Corporate sustainability practices.

Module 4: Safety Engineering and Accident Prevention: Safety in industrial operations and equipment, Machine guarding and lockout-tagout (LOTO), Fire safety and explosion prevention, Electrical safety management, Behavioral-based safety (BBS) practices, Accident investigation and root cause analysis.

Module 5: HES Policies, Audits, and Compliance: Developing HES policies and objectives, Safety audits and inspections (internal and external), Compliance with national and international HES laws, Permit to work systems and toolbox talks, Recordkeeping and HES reporting procedures, Continuous monitoring and performance review.

Module 6: Training, Communication and Safety Culture: HES induction and refresher training programs, Communication of risks and controls, Creating safety awareness campaigns, Roles of HES committees and representatives, Encouraging reporting and worker involvement, Building a proactive HES culture in the workplace.

GSDCI Online Assessment Detail:

• Duration- 60 minutes.

• Language: English.
• Exam Type: Multiple Choice Questions.
• Maximum Marks- 100, Passing Marks- 50%.
• There is no negative marking in any module.
